Compose Alpha compose-alpha

Specifies the alpha transparency to be applied to compose image.

Values

This parameter accepts integer values in the range 0 to 100 with 0 disabling alpha transparency:

  • 1: almost fully transparent watermark image.
  • 100: fully opaque watermark image.

The default value for this parameter is 0 disabling alpha transparency and rendering the original compose image.

Examples

Specifying a compose alpha value of 30 with compose-alpha=30 and using compose-blend=over:

Specifying a compose alpha value of 80 with compose-alpha=80 and using compose-blend=over:

Specifying a compose alpha value of 100 with compose-alpha=100 and over mode with compose-blend=over will result in a non alpha compose image over the source image:
